(CEU Course) Understanding OCD: Myths, Realities, and Treatment Options

This course offers an in-depth overview of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Participants will learn how to:

1) define and diagnosis OCD;

2) recognize common and uncommon presentations; and

3) conceptualize evidence-based modalities in the treatment of OCD.

Special attention will be given to Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard of treatment, with a detailed walkthrough of how ERP can be applied in practice. Case examples will also be provided to further support participant’s understanding of how to diagnose and conceptualize the treatment of OCD.

This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886947999-4675) for 1 continuing education contact hours.

*Please note: In order to receive credit, attendees must register before joining and be present for the entire session Attendance will be verified using the email registered prior to a certificate being issued.

This program is nationally approved and endorsed by all social work state licensure boards EXCEPT: New York and Puerto Rico. Please check with your professional licensing board regarding CE acceptances.
