September is nationally recognized as Suicide Prevention Month.

This year Shawnee American Legion Post 193 will be hosting their 2nd Annual Suicide Prevention & Mental Health Awareness Program.

Saturday Sept.19th 2026 from 12 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

This event is open to the community and aims to provide resources, awareness, and support for individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges.

Representatives from Mental Health Lou, Robley Rex Hospital, Seven Counties Services, and the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs will be on hand to provide information, resources, and support.
