Sometimes people who have experienced pain, trauma, or emotional wounds inflict similar pain on others and this can perpetuate harmful cycles. Sometimes people do this unconsciously and sometimes people do this because they lack a toolbox of emotional regulation or healthy communication skills. Of course, not all hurt people become perpetrators of harm; some find healing to break the cycle. Join us for a conversation about learning to spot these patterns in yourself as well as in others and how to interrupt this pattern when possible.
