If you are grieving and looking for support or love someone who struggles with addiction, in a world that doesn’t understand, I might be a good fit for you. If you are facing unspeakable, unimaginable pain, fear, shame, guilt, or loneliness you are not alone, and you are not broken beyond repair. I believe you are experiencing natural responses to incredibly challenging, traumatic, unjust, and threatening events. There is no prescribed path in grief that leads to some kind of resolution, as we have been told. The truth is that grief never goes away, you simply learn to build your life around it and we are not meant to do it alone.
I work with traumatic, stigmatized grief which includes the sudden, out-of-order, or violent death of a loved one(s). It also includes the grief associated with parenting or loving a person struggling with addiction or mental illness, multiple losses in a row, climate-related grief, estrangement, or when things are not going how you hoped or planned.
I have many years of clinical experience and training to offer you a safe space to feel and share your pain, fear, or anger. I am trained in modern, science-based modalities to guide you in living through tragedy effectively. I offer unique ways to explore grief, including nature-based or out-of-office, ceremony, and expressive techniques.
