Emily attended University of Louisville for both undergraduate and graduate school. She received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling. Emily is currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky.

Emily specializes in EMDR - eye movement desensitization reprocessing, to help with decreasing symptoms of any trauma related issues. Emily also utilizes

Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Interpersonal, Motivational Interviewing techniques, Person-Centered, REBT, Solution-Focused, and Trauma-Focused therapy.

Emily has over 8 years of experience working with young adults and adults in the community, in-home, outpatient, and residential settings. Emily has much experience in treating mental health diagnoses including, Anxiety, ADHD, Bi-Polar, Depression, and PTSD.

Her primary focus is to build a therapeutic alliance with her clients, assist her clients in identifying goals, aid them with making progress towards those goals, while utilizing effective and current therapeutic strategies.
