About

Allison is a licensed speech pathologist and certified brain injury specialist. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 2017, after her own medical events sparked a desire for a career where she could empower others to advocate for their needs. She found a passion working with neurogenic populations and believes the foundation of a therapeutic partnership lies in person-centered and collaborative care with an emphasis on life participation.

Allison is also a PureBarre instructor, has training in mindfulness and meditation, and is certified in Love Your Brain Yoga for health providers. She believes holistic cognitive-communication goals should incorporate physical and emotional wellness and uses principles of mindfulness and movement in her therapy approach.

In her spare time, Allison can be found reading a book, working on a home renovation project, or petting her dog, Ernie.
